MGM Cotai - Architectural Installation Content Program

  • MGM Cotai is a large-scale architectural installation featuring a unique array of 25 LED screens (4-8K each) located in a pre-function space at the MGM Cotai resort.

Obscura designed the immersive content program to showcase emerging artists and display the landscapes of China and other cinematic material in addition to generative interactive work. The overarching theme was ‘Windows of the World’ as an experiential National Geographic publication.

Our work spanned multiple location shoots, cinematic curation and acquisition, and a complex post-production approach to accomplish editing and spatialization of assets across 25 separate screen displays for comprehensive media deployment.

Obscura designed the media, software, and content program for the installation, including 260 minutes of custom content.
